- Configuration: Featureless, built by WBT: grip fin in place of the pistol grip. The magazine release works normally, so reloads are the same as anywhere else.
- Magazine: Standard detachable, 10-round.
- Your options: If this page shows a compliance selector, choose the build you prefer and we configure it that way. If not, this is the configuration we offer by default; on AR-pattern rifles and some AKs a different build is often possible, so ask us before you order.
- Upgrades: AK-pattern rifles take AK-specific parts only; AR-style grips do not fit, and the MagLock is not an option because an AK receiver does not open to swap the magazine. Rifles that use a standard AK-47 magazine can usually be built with a CompMag instead. The AK options we offer are in California Compliance Upgrades.

Palmetto State Armory Soviet Arms WBP GF5 Classic Rifle is an AK-pattern rifle chambered in 7.62x39 with a 16" barrel and a 10-round capacity. Finish: Black. An AK has a one-piece receiver that does not open like an AR, so the MagLock approach is not available; AKs are built featureless or with a CompMag, as described above.

Introducing the new Soviet Arms WBP Kit build Rifle. These Rifles are built with new WBP components and PSA/Soviet arms furniture, FCG, and barrels.
The barrel is a proprietary blend of hammer-forged chrome-moly vanadium made by FN that is referred to as "Machine Gun Steel" by virtue of its use in FN's M249 and M240 weapons. The hammer forging process work hardens the steel, making it more durable. This 16" barrel is magnetic particle inspected, to ensure quality and dependability and is pressed into a hammer forged 4340 AQ front trunnion to ensure the longevity AK-47's are known for. The hardened steel 1mm receiver features an ALG AKT Enhanced Trigger with Lightning Bow, and side rail mount. The rifle is finished with a classic polymer handguard, stock, and grip.
