Warranty Information
The ambidextrous DD4 RIII AR15 style rifle is designed to satisfy the needs of both right- and left-handed shooters in popular shooting sports and for tactical and defensive applications. Its fully ambidextrous lower allows a shooter to operate the bolt catch, safety selector, and magazine release without having to move or remove their dominant hand from the rifle’s grip, while its GRIP-N-RIP Charging Handle is fully ambidextrous as well. A 12.5 inch lightweight RIS III rail—modeled after the revolutionary RIS II two-piece handguard developed for SOCOM—features M-LOK attachment for lighter weight. It surrounds a 16 inch Cold Hammer Forged Government Profile barrel, and our mid-length gas system, known to have a smoother recoil impulse, adds to this rifle’s accuracy by allowing for quick but precise rapid fire. This rifle also comes with the ergonomic Daniel Defense Buttstock and Pistol Grip.Product Videos

The gun, the myth, the legend
This rifle is awesome and it’s my second Daniel Defense purchase. I love DD so much that I had to try another rifle from their inventory. My first DD rifle has the RIS II rail and I decided to give their newest RIS III rail a try. I was hesitant at first because I prefer quad rail, but when I held this rifle during the DROS, I knew this rifle was going to be the one that I will be using 95% of the time at the range. The rail is thin and very light, which makes the rifle feel super comfortable when holding for a long period of time. Plus, my large hands allowed me to comfortably grip the rail with ease and I love the Ambi operations. It allows me to shoot with either hands, which is a big plus. Even though DD is a high quality brand, my only complaint is the trigger. It’s not a deal breaker as the trigger is NOT bad at all. I just don’t like the long and heavy pull of the trigger. However, I upgraded it to Geissele SSA-E and it made the rifle so much better and complete! I highly recommend this rifle to anyone! You will not be disappointed.
