The EVO is the 2026 evolution of the AEMS, and the headline change is the forward-facing light sensor. Instead of reading the light behind you, it reads the light on your target. Step from a bright driveway into a dark hallway and the reticle adjusts to where you're shooting, not where you're standing — the exact scenario where rear-facing sensors leave you with a washed-out or blinding dot.
Green is the pick for shooters whose eyes struggle with red. It reads brighter to the eye at the same power level, and it stands out well against dirt, brush and brown targets. The Multi-Reticle System puts a 2 MOA dot, a 65 MOA circle, and the two combined on one switch, so you change the reticle to the shot instead of settling for one compromise.
The window grew to 1.26 by 0.98 inches, and durability moved up with it: IPX8 waterproofing rated past a meter of submersion, and 1000G vibration resistance. The side-loading CR2032 tray delivers up to 50,000 hours at mid-brightness, with Solar Failsafe and Shake Awake as backup.
