Holosun ARO EVO Gold Dot – 2 MOA
The ARO EVO takes the ARO and adds the two things that separate a budget dot from a duty dot: a 26mm window and Solar Failsafe. The larger window means less housing in your peripheral vision, and the solar panel means the reticle stays lit off daylight even with a dead battery.
This is the gold version. Gold sits between red and green in visibility and holds unusually good contrast against green foliage and brown terrain, which is why hunters keep asking for it. A 2 MOA dot is the precision choice. It covers two inches at 100 yards, so it doesn't hide a small target, and it's fine enough to shoot groups with rather than just point with.
It keeps the Aimpoint Micro T1/T2 footprint, so the entire aftermarket mount ecosystem is open to you. The 7075-T6 housing is IP67 sealed, and the CR2032 delivers up to 50,000 hours with Shake Awake managing the idle time. Optical quality is good enough that it holds up behind a magnifier, which is where cheaper dots fall apart.
