Holosun ARO Green Dot – 2 MOA Dot / 65 MOA Circle
The ARO replaced Holosun's long-running 403 and 503 tubes, and it fixed the thing that dated them: the window. A 22mm housing gives you noticeably more to see through than the old 20mm tubes, on a sight that still weighs almost nothing.
The green reticle appears sharper to most eyes than red at matching brightness levels. Shooters with astigmatism often report a cleaner dot in green than in red. The Multi-Reticle System puts a 2 MOA dot, a 65 MOA circle, and the two combined on one switch, so you change the reticle to the shot instead of settling for one compromise.
It uses the Aimpoint Micro T1/T2 footprint, which is the most supported mount pattern in the business — Scalarworks, Unity, American Defense and LaRue mounts all bolt straight on. Two mounts ship in the box. Shake Awake powers the dot down after a set idle period and back up the moment the rifle moves, with the timeout adjustable or switchable off entirely.
