The gold reticle reads with more contrast than red in bright light and against busy backgrounds, without the premium that green usually carries. A 2 MOA dot is the precision choice. It covers two inches at 100 yards, so it doesn't hide a small target, and it's fine enough to shoot groups with rather than just point with.
It runs the familiar 507 architecture — 7075-T6 housing, RMR footprint, side-loading battery, Solar Failsafe and Shake Awake — in a body sized for a scoped division gun rather than a carry gun.
