Leupold Scope Base – 1", High, Black, Fits CZ 527
Leupold has been machining scope mounting hardware in Oregon since long before most of the current market existed, and their ring and base systems are the reference other makers get compared against. The base is the foundation of a scope mounting system — it bolts to the receiver and gives the rings something square and solid to clamp to. Get this part wrong and nothing above it can be right.
Sized for a 1-inch tube, the traditional American standard still used across most hunting scopes. High rings give clearance for large objective bells, 50mm and up, or for a rifle with a tall comb. The trade is a higher sight line over the bore. Steel construction adds weight but resists deformation under clamping force better than aluminum, which is why it stays popular on hard-kicking rifles.
This one is machined specifically for the CZ 527. Mounting hardware is action-specific, so confirm your exact model and generation before ordering — a base that is close but not correct will not sit square.
