Talley machines mounting hardware in South Carolina and is best known for one-piece rings that eliminate the base entirely — fewer parts between the scope and the rifle means fewer things to shift. One-piece mounts trade adjustability for rigidity. Everything is machined in a single block, so ring alignment is set at the factory rather than something you have to lap in.
Sized for a 1-inch tube, the traditional American standard still used across most hunting scopes. High rings give clearance for large objective bells, 50mm and up, or for a rifle with a tall comb. The trade is a higher sight line over the bore. Aluminum construction keeps weight down without giving up the rigidity a mount needs.
