Trijicon RMR Type 2 RM33 Red Dot – 6.5 MOA
This configuration pairs the RMR Type 2 with a Trijicon Picatinny mount, so it goes straight onto a rifle, carbine or shotgun without sourcing a mount separately. The RMR's patented housing distributes recoil around the lens instead of through it, which is why it holds up on rail-mounted guns as well as it does on slides.
The 6.5 MOA dot is the speed configuration of the RMR line. It draws the eye quickly on presentation, which matters more than fine precision on a defensive gun.
The adjustable LED gives you eight brightness settings including two for night vision, with roughly four years of battery life at a mid setting. Buying the optic and mount together costs less than adding the mount afterward.
