About this muzzle brake
American Precision Arms G3L5838S Gen 3 Little Bastard Self Timing Brake Stainless Steel with 5/8"-24 tpi is a muzzle brake in 5/8 in-24 tpi.
Match the thread pitch to your barrel (1/2x28 on most 5.56 and 9mm barrels, 5/8x24 on most .308 and 6.5mm) and the bore to your caliber. A device that is too small for the bullet is dangerous.
California note: a muzzle brake is not a listed feature, so it works on featureless and fixed-magazine rifles alike. More brakes are in our muzzle brake section; see the California Rifle Compliance Guide for how each build works.
