Griffin Armament XHP556FH3P Flash Hider 5.56 Black Nitride 17-4PH Stainless Steel 1/2"x28 Threads is a flash hider for AR-15 in 1/2 inx28.
Match the thread pitch to your barrel (1/2x28 on most 5.56 and 9mm barrels, 5/8x24 on most .308 and 6.5mm) and the bore to your caliber. A device that is too small for the bullet is dangerous.
California note: a flash hider is a listed feature on a semi-automatic centerfire rifle with a detachable magazine. It works on a fixed-magazine (MagLock or CompMag) build. On a featureless rifle it is replaced with a thread protector or a muzzle brake. See the California Rifle Compliance Guide.

The Gate-LOK stealth flash hider provides optimal suppressor fit, enhanced flash signature reduction, and reduces muzzle climb. The focus of the Gen 3 revision was to reduce flash as much as possible. Time intensive R&D resulted in a high performance 3 prong flash hider with incredible resonance reduction. These hide flash extremely well and do not ring or ping when fired. CNC machined and outside diameter ground from heat, corrosion, and wear resistant, precipitation hardened, 17-4 stainless steel for maximum durability.
