About this rifle barrel
Wilson Combat Ranger Barrel 6.8 Spc II 16 Mid Gas Stainless 1-11 is a rifle barrel for AR-15, 16 in, 5/8-24 threads.
Check the gas system length, muzzle threads and profile against your handguard and gas block. The twist rate tells you which bullet weights the barrel is happiest with; 1:7 and 1:8 handle heavy bullets, 1:9 and slower favor light ones.
Manufacturer details
Have an AR-15 that's too heavy and bulky to carry around in the field? Well, thanks to decades of skill and experience, engineers at Wilson Combat developed a solution that helps AR owners cut down the weight of their rifle without any accuracy loss. The new Wilson Combat AR-15 Ranger Barrel is purpose-built for the task.
Each Wilson Combat AR-15 Ranger Barrel is built from 416R stainless steel and is ready-made for any build, thanks to a standard .750-inch gas-block journal that readily accepts most gas blocks on the market today. The barrel is also machined for a mid-length gas system and features a dimple designed to catch and secure a set screw.
Thanks to the lightweight design of the Wilson Combat AR-15 Ranger Barrel, those looking for a solid, easy-to-carry hunting rifle or for a platform that's perfect for a smaller shooter can now build their own tack-driving, weight-saving platform.
