About this compensator

Strike Si SAIL-Compensator-223/556 Sail Compensator is a compensator for AR-15 in 1/2 in-28 tpi.

Thread pitch and bore diameter are the two things to confirm: the device has to match your barrel's threads and be bored for your caliber or larger.

California note: California defines a flash suppressor by what it does: any muzzle device designed or intended to reduce or redirect muzzle flash. A compensator that only reduces muzzle rise is treated like a brake and works on a featureless rifle; a hybrid that also claims flash reduction counts as a flash hider. See the California Rifle Compliance Guide.

Manufacturer details

The Sail Comp is a high efficiency single chamber brake. It derives its name from the unique baffle shape that redirects muzzle gasses out and upward providing recoil mitigation and muzzle rise control.
