About this flash hider

Strike Industries Venom SI-Venom-FH-223-5.56 is a flash hider for AR-15 for .223/5.56.

Match the thread pitch to your barrel (1/2x28 on most 5.56 and 9mm barrels, 5/8x24 on most .308 and 6.5mm) and the bore to your caliber. A device that is too small for the bullet is dangerous.

California note: a flash hider is a listed feature on a semi-automatic centerfire rifle with a detachable magazine. It works on a fixed-magazine (MagLock or CompMag) build. On a featureless rifle it is replaced with a thread protector or a muzzle brake. See the California Rifle Compliance Guide.

Manufacturer details

The Venom Flash Hider nearly eliminates 100 percent of your muzzle flash and quickly disperses the burning gases exploding from the barrel. The four prongs on the end of the brake are designed to protect the muzzle crown. This model is compatible with your AR15
