About this handgun
The Performance Center Model 500 is Smith & Wesson's X-frame hunting revolver in .500 S&W Magnum. It has a 5-round cylinder, a 7.5 in barrel with an integral muzzle brake, and a PC-tuned action with a chromed hammer and a chromed trigger with trigger stop. The matte stainless frame and cylinder resist the weather, and the black synthetic grips soak up recoil. Sights are an orange ramp front and an adjustable black-blade rear. It is 15 in long and weighs 69.6 oz. For California, our Yuma warehouse converts it to single-action operation before it ships.
