The Winchester Wildcat Sporter is a blowback .22 LR semi-auto with a satin-oiled Grade I wood stock that has a slightly longer length of pull than the composite models. It has an 18" button-rifled chrome-moly barrel with a recessed target crown and 1:16 twist. The polymer receiver has an integral Picatinny rail and a drop-out lower for easy cleaning. Sights are an adjustable ghost ring rear and ramped post front. It uses a 10-round rotary magazine, has an ambidextrous magazine release and reversible safety, and weighs 4 lb 8 oz.
