The LWRCI SIX8 A5 uses proprietary upper and lower receivers optimized for the 6.8 SPC II cartridge, with a fully ambidextrous lower, ambidextrous charging handle and ambi sling mount. Its 16.1" cold hammer forged, spiral-fluted barrel has a 1:10 twist, 5/8x24 threads and an A2 birdcage flash hider, with an adjustable 2-position gas block. A 12" configurable rail, Skirmish back-up iron sights, LWRCI enhanced trigger, adjustable compact stock and Magpul MOE+ grip complete the FDE Cerakote rifle.
