Warne Browning Mountain Tech Tactical Rail Scope Base – Black
Warne has built scope mounts in Oregon since 1991, and their reputation rests on steel rings that hold zero on rifles that punish lesser hardware. The base is the foundation of a scope mounting system — it bolts to the receiver and gives the rings something square and solid to clamp to. Get this part wrong and nothing above it can be right.
It mounts directly to the receiver, so fitment is specific to the action it was machined for — check the fit before ordering. 7075 aluminum is the stronger of the two common alloys, roughly 30 percent stiffer than 6061, at the same light weight.
