The Daniel Defense DD5 V3 California Compliant is a 7.62x51mm NATO rifle with a 16" barrel (1:11) threaded 5/8x24 and a DD Superior Suppression Device. An adjustable gas block keeps the feel consistent suppressed or unsuppressed, and the 4-Bolt Connection System increases rigidity between barrel and upper. Controls include an ambidextrous bolt catch, magazine release and safety selector. For California, the magazine is released only by pulling the rear takedown pin and opening the upper. It accepts SR-25 pattern magazines and ships with a 10-round PMAG.
