The Savage RXR22 is a blowback .22 LR semi-automatic rifle with a rugged polymer receiver, integral Picatinny top rail and a cleaning port at the rear. Its 16.5" button-rifled barrel has a recessed target crown, a 1:16 twist and 1/2x28 threads. The Gun Metal Gray synthetic stock has a vertical pistol grip with interchangeable inserts, metal sling studs and a Picatinny rail under the fore-end. It accepts Ruger 10/22-compatible magazines, triggers and barrels, has a quick-release trigger group, and its 10-round rotary magazine holds the bolt open after the last shot.
