The Smith & Wesson M&P FPC in 5.7x28mm is a compact folding carbine inspired by the M&P pistol line, sharing its grip and trigger feel and using M&P 5.7 magazines. It folds from the side so mounted optics stay undisturbed, going from 30-3/8" to 16-3/8". The 16.25" barrel is threaded 1/2x28 with a thread protector, the handguard has M-LOK slots and a Picatinny top rail, and the fixed 14.5" LOP polymer stock stores two spare magazines. It field-strips quickly and ships with three 10-round magazines.
