Buying parts or a barrel from an out-of-state seller who won't ship directly to you in California? Have them ship it to one of our two locations. Our receiving fee is a flat $25 per package.

The Yuma warehouse is a shipping facility only. It is not open to the public and has no in-person pickup.
How It Works: La Mesa Pickup
- Place your order. Choose WBT Guns as the receiving dealer. If the seller needs a copy of our FFL, email transfers@wbtguns.com.
- Submit the Incoming Item Form. Choose La Mesa, CA Store and Magazines / Parts / Accessories (or Firearms / Barrels for a barrel). Make sure your full name is on the shipping label or packing slip too.
- We receive and notify you. When your package arrives, we log it in and let you know it's ready.
- Pick up in person. Bring a valid government-issued photo ID. We verify your identity and age, provide the state-required notice, and release your package. The $25 fee is paid at pickup.
How It Works: Yuma Receiving
- Place your order. Have the seller ship to our Yuma, AZ address with your full name on the label or packing slip. If the seller needs a copy of our FFL, email transfers@wbtguns.com.
- Submit the Incoming Item Form. Choose Yuma, AZ Warehouse, what's coming, and how you want it delivered.
- We receive and contact you. We confirm what arrived and quote the actual shipping cost to its next stop.
- You pay and verify. Pay the $25 receiving fee plus shipping. For parts shipped to your home, complete California's required ID verification at wbtguns.com/verify.
- We ship it on. Where it goes depends on the item:

Tip: Ask your seller to ship everything in one box to keep it to a single fee.
What We Accept
- Rifle, pistol, and shotgun barrels
- All parts and accessories that are legal in California, including slides, bolt carrier groups, trigger groups, and upper receivers
Threaded pistol barrels are accepted, but please note they are not legal to install on a pistol without a fixed magazine.
Everything you receive must be legal to possess in California. Receiving an item for you does not make it California compliant. If you're unsure, email us before you order.
What This Service Doesn't Cover
- Firearms, stripped lowers, and receivers go through our Firearm Transfers or Middle Man Transfers service.
- Ammunition goes through our Ammo Transfers service.
- Unfinished frames or receivers (80% lowers / firearm precursor parts) are not accepted at either location.
- Parts bought from WBT Guns don't need this service. We handle AB 1263 compliance on our own orders.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which location should I use?
If your seller will ship to a California FFL, use La Mesa. It's faster and there's no extra shipping cost. Use Yuma only when the seller won't ship to California at all.
Is there a waiting period or DROS?
No. Parts and barrels are not firearms, so there's no DROS and no 10-day wait.
Do I need a Firearm Safety Certificate (FSC)?
No. An FSC is not required for parts or barrels.
Will barrels require a background check?
Under SB 704, California DOJ is scheduled to begin requiring a barrel eligibility check at the dealer starting July 1, 2027. We'll update this page and our process when that takes effect.
Can a barrel from Yuma ship to my house?
No. California requires barrels to be delivered through a licensed firearms dealer. We'll ship it to our La Mesa store or any California FFL you choose.
Can someone else pick up or receive it for me?
No. The person named on the package must pick it up with their own valid ID. For home delivery, the shipping address must match your ID and an adult signature is required.
What if I can't pick up within 30 days?
Just let us know ahead of time. With prior arrangements, we'll hold it without the extra fee. Otherwise, a $25 fee applies to items left more than 30 days after delivery.
Do I need to tell you what's coming?
Yes. Submit the Incoming Item Form for every order. It takes about a minute, and packages that arrive without one take longer to identify.
