Great gun
Recoil is nonexistent. New shooters love shooting it and it's definitely a good gateway gun into the firearm world. Put around 300 rounds of standard velocity into it before it started giving me issues. About 25% of rounds put through were the dirty thunderbolts so im surprised it lasted as long as it did before it gave problems. It's also pretty accurate. If i take my time, I able to hit a 2" gong repeatedly at 100yrds. One thing to note is that while the appearance looks like an MP5, mechanically it does not function like one. There is no roller-delay system in place. Upon taking it apart, I realized it functions more like a ruger 10/22. Only exception is the MP5 charging handle. Still a great gun though and highly recommend it.

In all seriousness this is a very fun firearm to have. PROS: The weight of the gun; this isn't some plastic rendition. It has a nice heft to it which leads to a great feel when firing. Next the reliability. I have gone through multiple ammo brands and never had a FTF or FTE. So far it chews up everything I have. Charging handle. Yes you can totally do the HK slap. It was a lot of fun to do in the beginning Rotary diopter. I never thought I would like this feature but it just lends itself to keeping the mp5 features. CONS: Bring at least 150 more rounds than what you think you'll use at the range. It is that fun, but also means that the $$ you save in ammo goes down due to volume usage. Accessory parts could be a challenge to get sometimes. I am pending a special railing meant for this specific gun. Finding magazines available. Overall rating is very high. I don't regret this purchase and to be honest I wanted to get a second one to channel my inner Dillon (predator) and dual wield these guns. This gun serves as a fun reliable plinker. Umarex did a great job.

Perfect plinker - accessory shortage
I've wanted an MP5 since I was a munchkin watching the SAS storm the Iranian Embassy. This is a solid build, sturdy, smooth running and fun as hell! Unfortunately I cannot find spare magazines ANYWHERE! No fault to Wilde Built, but keep it in mind when making a purchase.
