Dealer-exclusive California compliance. Manufacturers make very few California-legal rifles. Wilde Built Tactical supplies California dealers with firearms not typically offered in a CA-legal configuration — we can make most rifles California legal for your store.

You no longer have to wait on CA SKUs to come back in stock. Order on your own distributor accounts, drop ship to our Arizona warehouse, and we’ll handle the compliance work and ship the firearm to your counter. Take the special order instead of watching a sale walk out the door.

Can’t find the gun on your own accounts? We have accounts with 18 distributors. We’ll buy it, convert it, and ship it to your store on one invoice. Send us the make and model, and we’ll quote it before anything is ordered.

Sourcing is for firearms that need California compliance work only. We don’t order firearms that are already CA-compliant, and we don’t sell our own allocated or hard-to-find inventory. Email us for a quote.

How It Works

1. Order from your distributor on your normal account, pricing, and terms.
2. Submit the Dealer Intake Form before the firearm ships. It tells us your store, distributor, the items coming, and the compliance method you want.
3. Ship to WBT. Have your rep drop ship to our Yuma, AZ warehouse. Most distributors and California regional reps already have our FFL on file — if yours doesn’t, contact us and we’ll coordinate with your rep. We have accounts with 18 distributors and also accept direct shipments from manufacturers.
4. We convert and ship. Orders are processed first in, first out. When your order is done, we email an invoice with the services performed, FedEx tracking, and CFLC, and ship it to your store.

Additional Services

Single-Action Conversions

Manufacturers have been generous to California on the Handgun Roster when it comes to revolvers. For the ones that slipped through, we can convert most revolvers to single-action exempt. To qualify, the revolver must have a barrel of at least 3 inches and an overall length of at least 7.5 inches. Chiappa revolvers are excluded.

No-Ship-to-CA Forwarding

If a supplier won’t ship a product to California over Prop 65 or another internal policy, contact us — we can usually help.

Good to Know

• Parts and labor are included in our conversion pricing. Return shipping is FedEx Ground, billed at actual cost.
• Magazines: Rifles ship with the OEM magazine. WBT does not block magazines.
• Payment: ACH is preferred and is debited before your order ships. Credit cards are accepted with a service charge.
• Send the right guns: A service charge applies to firearms that need no compliance work, or that can’t be converted and weren’t arranged in advance.

New Dealers: Getting Started

1. Download the Dealer Application & Agreement. It’s a fillable PDF — type in your information and sign it electronically.
2. Email it to dealers@wbtguns.com with:
   • Current FFL (copy)
   • Current California DOJ CFD Number
   • California Seller’s Permit
   • Large-Capacity Magazine Permit
   • Voided check (for ACH verification)
3. Get approved. A WBT representative will send our Dealer Conversion Price List and help set up drop shipping with your distributors.
